CHANGING THE TIMES

During this delicate courageous time that we are facing with the relocation and rebuilding of the Tohoku Communities, the environmental and energy crisis, as well as financial impact, it is important that, in addition to focusing and getting our brothers and sisters of Fukushima and surrounding areas back on their feet and self sustaining, we must remember to look within ourselves and understand what Megami Sama Mother Earth may saying to us, and attempting to do achieve, in terms of responding to and correcting imbalances, resulting from the beings actions and accumulated lifestyles that inhabit her; that would be us humans. All of the other animals that we share the planet with are either enslaved by us for our companionship, service or entertainment, tortured and killed for our palatal satiations, or distancing themselves as far from us as they can manage, in an attempt to survive in their timeless and harmonious way with our great planet earth that we share.
International response to the nuclear crisis that Japan faces today, starting with Germany and other countries, has been one of shutting down nuclear reactors, and returning to coal fuel for example, which has it's own list of human and environmental evils attached.
Acts of war and aggression are both the reminders of the evil shadow side within each person, as well as the resultant display of the true heart and soul of humanity, to persevere and triumph in the face of devastation, and also to learn and teach our young to grow up into beings more respectful of the fragility of life and of the importance of being present to peace and timeless moments.

When faced with Mother Nature as the source of devastation it is pointless to see such a pure force as the enemy, and this truth allows us to look more deeply within our selves as a potential real contributing force unto ourselves, as a considerable cause of extreme climate changes, unnatural channeling of waterways, manipulation and excessive use of electromagnetic fields, concentrated violent bursts of energy; all possibly resulting in sudden shifts in continental plates, and ensuing oceanic tidal surges. The daily aftershocks reminding us that earth and elements are readjusting their intrinsic response to imbalances created on the surface layer; our endless product producing factories, storehouses and consumer outlets, and concrete and wire interconnected tunnels and pathways.
Our commercial and consumer waste continues to pollute the land, air and sea, and the media and industry covers it all up with more jingles and asphalt.
My small way of taking a stand for my and others dignity is to share insight and lifestyle through mindful body training for the times ahead of us, and contributing whatever amount of funds we can together to keep the people believing and living to see that tomorrow the sun the shine and today we are making an effort to show up for one another's humanity.
We can each find renewable and harmonious ways to change the world, one action at a time. It might seem out of reach or even unimaginable for many of us to consider, however, it will be come clear that the key to unlocking our synergistic destiny with our surroundings, will exist in growing food from our rooftops if necessary, and turn to solar panels over government gas, and sourcing local springs in place of convenient store plastic containers of the same water.
Since relocating to Kyushu island recently, after securing my pregnant wife's and dog's safety, my first call of duty has been to develop a planting area on the adjacent roof and securing the location of the closest pure artesian water in the nearby woods.

My families next substantial purchases will be the newly environmentally improved Toyota Prius and a solar panel to charge and run most of our electricity via rechargeable batteries; and this is how we each have to start thinking and acting to bring our world back to balance.
